How It Works
Classical Walk: Each step is a single, decisive event. Based on the probability set by the slider, the walker makes one decision to move either left or right. The outcomes are mutually exclusive.
Split Step Walk: Each step is broken into two independent parts:
- Part 1: A decision is made to either move left or stay still, based on the first slider's probability.
- Part 2: A second, independent decision is made to either move right or stay still, based on the second slider.
The final movement for the step is the combination of these two outcomes, meaning the walker can end up moving left, right, or staying in the same position.
