Transform the direction
uvwfrom the volume’s index space to world space using the linear part of the volume’s affine transform.Translation is not applied and the result is not renormalized, so a scaling transform changes the vector’s length. For positions, use
volume_index_to_world()instead.- Parameters:
id – The
idof awarp.Volume.uvw – Direction in index space.
- Returns:
The transformed direction in world space with
float32precision.
See
volume_index_to_world()for a usage example.

Transform the direction
uvwfrom the volume’s index space to world space using the linear part of the volume’s affine transform (float64 precision).The
float64overload ofvolume_index_to_world_dir(). Behavior and usage match the defaultfloat32overload; see it for details and a usage example.
