warp.tile\_cholesky\_solve\_inplace =================================== .. currentmodule:: warp._src.lang .. function:: tile_cholesky_solve_inplace(L: Tile[Float, tuple[int, int]], y: Tile[Float, tuple[int, ...]], fill_mode: str = "lower") -> None .. wp-function-tags:: :kernel: true :python: false :differentiable: false Solve ``A x = y`` in place, overwriting ``y`` with ``x``. Behaves like :func:`~warp.tile_cholesky_solve`, including the meaning of ``L`` under each ``fill_mode``, the dtype rules, the support for a 1D or 2D right-hand side, and the backend selection, except that the solution overwrites ``y`` instead of being returned. This is a cooperative operation, so every thread in the block must call it. This in-place variant avoids allocating shared memory for a separate output. :param L: A square triangular Cholesky factor of ``A``, with ``shape=(M, M)``. :param y: The right-hand side, a tile with ``shape=(M,)`` or ``shape=(M, NRHS)``, overwritten by the solution ``x``. :param fill_mode: ``"lower"`` or ``"upper"``. Must be a compile-time constant. See :func:`~warp.tile_cholesky` for a usage example.
