Scorecards¶

The scorecards are in beta. We are actively working on adding more models and improved evaluation.
Forecast skill of Earth2Studio models, one scorecard per model. These show each model's own skill, not a comparison between models. The global models share one campaign: 48 initial conditions (2025), 14-day horizon, ERA5 verification via ARCO_ERA5. Regional models are scored on event campaigns, described on their own pages. Pages are generated from per-model score (JSON) exports produced by the scorecard recipe, which documents how to generate a scorecard for any model; the eval recipe provides the backend support (inference, scoring and metrics).
